Beltane, one of the major Celtic fire festivals, marks the beginning of summer—a time when vitality, creativity, and passion ignite. Sacred fires were lit to protect livestock and encourage fertility. It’s a time to honour the union of the masculine and feminine energies, as seen in the Maypole dance and the May Day celebrations that have deep roots in Beltane traditions.

This is a potent moment for awakening our own vitality, for exploring growth, and for embracing the radiant energy of this season. It’s about feeling the warmth of the fire and stepping into the fullness of life—connecting deeply to our bodies, our emotions, and our surroundings.
