Men’s Temple III - Playfulness, Pleasure, Presence

So what is a men's temple? Together, with you, we continue to find out! But the orientation is clear - what if we as men felt enough trust and safety with one another that we could rediscover ways of being with one another that bring us closer to who we are? Finding how we might nourish different ways of sharing connection with each other.

It's a place to explore physical and emotional connection with men through embodied research, in the liminal space of curiosity that somatic play creates.

We welcome eros, movement, groundedness, mutual support, and whatever else feels right.

In this men’s temple, we will use play and playfulness to carve out new paths in how we move through the room, how we meet each other, and where our sensations flow to.

How would it feel to get really unstuck? What is the balance of challenge and play that brings your system into presence?

We believe that feeling safety doesn’t have to mean staying in our usual patterns, but can be found in expansion and empowerment.

If you ever feel trapped within yourself at temple, we welcome you to use this space as an opening.

We will bring in exercises which invite the body into play, and then playful meeting between men. Bring yourself, bring your truth, and bring your desires. We want all of it!

Let your system be your guide,  and maybe your system is ready to take you somewhere new.

Conor:
Conor is a student of Temple culture, and a close ally of Shanti and Hugs in our shared mission to strengthen and deepen our community. Creating temple space for men has been his ongoing mission, after he experienced a powerful process of healing in his connection to other men whilst on a sacred sexuality retreat. Conor holds space with deep reverence and radical irreverence, believing that we have to laugh at our attachments to find the reality of our experience.
