“Unless we go to Circular it’s game over for the planet; it’s game over for society”

Event: Film Night: Closing The Loop (2018)
Date: Wednesday, 9 October 2024
Time: 6:00 - 8:00 PM
Location: Reimagine Co (206 Piccadilly St, London ON)

Going “circular” refers to the necessary change from our current take-make-waste linear economy to a borrow-use-return circular economy (sometimes also referred to as the zero-waste or cradle-to-cradle economy). While the 3Rs (reduce, reuse, recycle) have become a hallmark of current  environmental education, a circular economy shifts the focus to environmental protection from the start.

Join the Thames Region Ecological Association (TREA) and the Institute for Community Sustainability (ICS) for a free screening of Closing The Loop (2018) - an award-winning documentary about the circular economy, with incredible examples of materials recovery projects from around the world - followed by friendly discussion.
