We invite you to an evening of information sharing on the current health of our River Dart and actions each of us can take to make a real difference.
Some of what harms the river starts in ordinary homes like yours and ours; the sink, the loo, the drive, the dog…And all of it is so easy to change!
General Household Information 7-8:30pm online:
Thurs 22nd Oct ‘26
Weds 18th Nov ‘26
Septic Tank Specific Information 7–8:30pm online:
Tues 20th Oct ‘26
Thurs 19th Nov ‘26
Registration is free, but any donation you can offer will support us to protect rivers from pollution by investigating pollution issues; empower community River Guardians to monitor, identify and map the health of the river and share accurate, action based information throughout their parishes; work with stakeholders to ensure nature recovery and collaborate nationally in evidence-led collective action with other river groups and the wider movement for clean water.Visit our recently launched River Hub to see how we're using the data we've been gathering.
Our information series is designed to equip householders with simple actions to take in the home, which can make a real difference to river health and we're keen to hear what you need to be able to take action at home.
There are two separate sessions which will each be repeated twice to offer as many people the opportunity to join. You can choose to attend any or all of the events. We will send a Google Meet link via email 24hrs ahead of each of the four events. Please check your junk folder in case it lands there.
Sessions will be recorded and shared online after the events. By registering to attend, you are consenting to recordings being made and shared online.
Subscribe to our newsletter for updates, news and information about future events and projects you can get involved in.
With thanks to Devon Environment Foundation and the Environment Agency for their support. This year’s work has also been made possible with donations from Frederick Mulder Foundation, The Dow Clewer Foundation, Dart Harbour Authority and our Friends of the Dart supporters.
Please send any enquiries to holly@friendsofthedart.org.
