We’re being invited to step into sovereignty and service in support of a global shift towards reverence and celebration of all life.

What’s required of you? Are you ready?

Men, and those who identify as men, often encounter barriers to finding and living in alignment with their purpose. Our cultures and societies today often place demands and expectations on men which can end up bringing more pressure than progress.

"The Work That Reconnects" is a body of work developed by Joanna Macy, a renowned author, activist, and Buddhist scholar. It draws on deep ecology, systems thinking, and spiritual traditions to help us re-connect with our inherent interconnectedness with all beings and the natural world, and to find hope and empowerment in times of crisis and uncertainty.

We have integrated The Work That Reconnects into men's work to enrich and expand the scope of exploration, healing, and transformation. Through various practices and exercises we help men develop a more holistic understanding of themselves, their relationships, and their responsibilities to the wider world, Ultimately supporting personal growth, emotional well-being, and ability to contribute to a sustainable and just future.

This is a space to share whatever is true for you in this journey.

Together we will explore…

Emotional Intelligence and Empathy

This workshop will provide tools and practices that cultivate emotional awareness, allowing you to deepen their understanding of your own emotions and those of others. This can enhance your ability to connect, empathize, and communicate effectively.

Ecological Awareness

Work That Reconnects emphasizes the interconnectedness of all life and encourages a deepening of our relationship with the natural world. Men's work can benefit from incorporating ecological awareness, as it helps men reconnect with nature, recognize their role as stewards of the Earth, and develop a sense of responsibility towards future generations.

Healing and Transformation

WTR offers processes that facilitate healing and transformation on both personal and collective levels. Men's work often addresses issues of masculinity, exploring harmful stereotypes and conditioning that can negatively impact men's lives and relationships. By incorporating WTR, men can engage in a broader exploration of their identities, relationships, and roles within the context of a changing world.

Community and Connection

WTR emphasizes the importance of building resilient communities and fostering connection among individuals. Men's work often involves creating safe spaces for men to gather, share their experiences, and support one another. By integrating WTR practices, men's work can expand beyond individual and interpersonal growth to include a wider sense of community and interconnectedness.

Action and Advocacy

WTR encourages active engagement and advocacy for social and environmental justice. Men's work can benefit from incorporating a focus on action, empowering men to use their skills, influence, and resources to address the challenges we face. WTR provides frameworks for developing collaborative projects, community organizing, and creating positive change in the world.
