The 7 of Pentacles - creating real nodes: a skillshop for practicing relationship

Our movements and spaces are often consumed with puritanism, infighting, a lack of deeply embodying present relationships and present selves with one another. The “right” way to do things. How helpless we may feel if we pause doing what is also burning us out.

But we can grow something different.

The 7 of Pentacles is an embodied skillshop to practice real relationship and weaving connection together in our bodies. When we move from embodied relationship, centering in generous and committed trust in ourselves, our movements become a space teeming with life.

Based on the poem by Marge Piercy, we will “weave real connections, create real nodes, build real houses.” This work is sometimes underground, not visible at first, but deeply felt.

Another way to say it might be - what does it mean to embody autonomous relationship, for real?

We will practice together.

What you will receive from this skillshop:

• Somatic practices for relational resonance with self, other, and the land
• Practices for deep listening and attunement
• Pragmatic somatic practices for building relationship with yourself and fostering deep self trust
• Practices for navigating conflict and relational repair
• Individual and group break out practices
• Fishbowl practice - 1 on 1 practice facilitated with Sirius Heart, in view of the group
• Ritual practices for spirit, ancestor, and land reciprocity (which then inform our person to person relationships, too)
• Embodied connection of a community together oriented towards embodying a new world together and feeling a sense of that in real time

We will have specific somatic practices and will also practice attunement and listening towards generative relational alchemy, together.

skillshop is glimmered with Joyful Militancy, practices of presence learned from Jessica Patterson and Root Center for Yoga and Sacred Studies, Susan Raffo and Owen Marciano in 5 Layers, Relational Uprising, and spirit, always.

When:
4 Saturdays - Sept 26th, October 3, 10th, and 17th
10AM - 12PMPST//1-3PM EST//6PM - 8PM GMT
via Zoom (or Proton Meet if they get breakout rooms!)

Cost:
$444, $333, or $111. Please be mindful when choosing cost and give generously at the rate you are able. Choosing the highest rate allows me to open more space for others who need. If possible, I will open one scholarship slot for a QTBIPOC community member to attend at no cost - email me at siriusheart@proton.me if you are interested. please inform me by September 14th via email if you need ASL interpretation! captions will be provided. attendees can come comfortable in any place - in bed, on the floor, while eating, off camera or on. interacting via chat only is welcomed. i do ask that some people be on camera so that i as facilitator can have that feedback loop at times, but you are welcome to take breaks as needed. if you are on camera, please wear clothing that you would wear to leave your house in.
