Would you like to ignite your creativity and fully honour the artist in you?
Would you like to realise your creative potential?
The Artist’s Way by Julia Cameron is the seminal book on creativity. An international bestseller, millions of readers have found it to be an invaluable guide to living the creative life. We will be reading the book and going through the process that Julia Cameron sets out together.
You do not have to be a conventional ‘artist’ to get something out of doing this process. It is a well known path to unleashing the innate river of your authentic expression.

“Many blocked people are actually very powerful and creative personalities who have been made to feel guilty about their own strengths and gifts.” Julia Cameron
Living in tune with your creativity is probably the most powerful way to feel connected to yourself and your sense of meaning in the world. Everything makes sense when we are able to touch the essence of ourselves in this way and to find ways to express it. Whether that's purely for ourselves or as a project for others to share. Life is better when we create. We were born to create.
Maybe you've tried to work through The Artists Way only to abandon it halfway through, because lets face it, being creative challenges a lot of our internalised voices about what we are and are not capable of. The inner critic comes in and shuts it all down. This group will enable you the accountability and structure to see this programme all the way through to the end and reap the benefits of restoring your creativity to full health.
In this group we will:
- Read one chapter of The Artist's Way every week.
- Do the exercises from the book in the live call together.
- Be accountable for doing the practices outside of the live calls, such as Morning Pages and Artist Dates.
Structure of the group:
We will meet every week for twelve weeks, on Thursdays 17.30-19.00 UK time, on Zoom.
It is strongly recommended that you attend the call live. However if there are a few dates you can't make you are still allowed to join the programme.
During the call we will be journaling, sharing and supporting each other.
Dates:

Please note: you are responsible for sourcing your own copy of The Artist's Way. The cost of the book is not included in this programme.
About the facilitator:
My name is Boe Huntress, I have been a facilitator of groups for over ten years. I hold spaces to support others and myself to engage healthily with their soul life. I am a writer, creative, and singer/songwriter. I was the Artist in Residence at Union Chapel, voted London's favourite venue in Time Out, for five years where I created immersive shows, from inception to production, including dance, music, visuals and theatre. I have used The Artist's Way to assist my continuing creative practice.

"Boe is a one in a million facilitator"
“Five stars!”
“100% recommend this course.”
"Being in this group has been a powerful, transformative experience. I’ve always felt in safe hands, in complete trust and able to grow each time."
"I feel blessed beyond words to have found this group. It can be SO hard to find the space to explore and meet one's spiritual needs in modern every day life, and what has been grown here is exceptional and unique. I have deep gratitude to Boe for providing this much needed and very rare space.”
"To say that this group has been a life-changing experience would actually be an understatement. It has given me the most incredible support network, lifeline in hard times, and a sacred connection to others."
"This circle has single-handedly saved me from depression, by giving me life long tools. It has deeply empowered me, meaning I can overcome insecurity and fear in order to help others and make a positive impact on this planet. I have come from being lost, insecure and afraid, to feeling open to the world and excited by its possibilities."
"It's hard to pry apart all of the incredibly positive ways this experience has affected my life. It's given me tools, and I feel firmly on a journey inwards which is broadening and opening up my outward perspectives. I think this has been the best thing I've ever done."
“Attending Boe's group has enabled me to find my spiritual core. It has changed my relationship with myself and with the world, and enabled me to live from a more authentic and loving place."

Boe was a fantastic course leader and put everyone at ease right from the beginning. She had so much useful information on the topic and also inspirational and motivational things to say. I felt heard and accepted in the group and it was so good just to know that other people are going through the same or similar struggles with screen addictions. I have been inspired to make changes in my life around my screen usage and put that down to my participation in this course. I can highly recommend it to anyone who wants to wrench back control of their life from the dominance of screens.

This was a hugely insightful and multi-layered course that supported me in both seeing, understanding and reflecting my patterns and habits with mobile phone use as well as bring the learnings into practice and establish new habits.

Boe is a wonderful, kind and experienced facilitator who carefully guided us through 4 weeks of exploitative work around the when, where and why we all use screen time so much. On top of this, I walked away with a lot of really practical tips and techniques, which I was tangibly able to put into practice. 100% recommend.

This course was more than I could have hoped for, wise in its simplicity and something about Boe just had me taking the steps gently and easily. It's a holistic and kind approach to an addiction many of us are challenged by, being able to talk openly with others who felt similarly really helped everything click into place on this journey towards using my phone rather than it using me.

I would highly recommend this course to anyone who is using screens more than their ideal. It can be as life-changing as you want to make it. Boe is an excellent facilitator who has clearly put lots of love and care into the planning. She gives super-helpful tools, suggestions and insights and provides inspiration for where it is possible to get to.

Great course. Helped me to start reducing my phone time and engage with underlying patterns. I came away with so many practical ideas on how to manage my devices in a more empowering way. The benefits will be long lasting...
