Sacred Activist Collective: a space for justice-hearted souls to root, gather and rise

We are a community of justice-hearted souls who care deeply, for the Earth, for each other, and for a liberated world.

We honour our interconnection with all life: land and lineage, breath and body, ancestors and animals, soil and stars. We gather to remember our sacred responsibility and our collective power to create the world we long for.

We host free online gatherings every two weeks, with an intention to lighten the weight of the world with practices that strengthen our bodymind, deepen our connections, and awaken our personal and collective power. Our spaces follow a living rhythm:

🌱 Root: Create space within your bodymind to release tension, process emotion, and return to your centre through embodied, creative, and restorative practices.
🌀 Gather: Come together in community to witness and be witnessed, share truth, and remember that our struggles and hopes are carried more lightly when held collectively.
🔥 Rise: Anchor into your inner and collective power, reclaim your agency, and practice the liberatory ways of being that move us toward a freer world.

You might call yourself a social activist, environmentalist, advocate, artist, change-maker, Earth-warrior, ally or you might not. No matter how you define or show your care for the world, this space is for you, because you need collective care too.

Rise: Heart in the storm

A reflection, Kundalini yoga kriya and meditation to anchor in the heart centre amid the world's turmoil.

The outside world is breaking apart into extremes right now, and when things split like this, our entire centre collapses. A lot of us are feeling this collapse deep in our bodies, our minds, and our lives.

The antidote to this chaos is to anchor ourselves more deeply in our heart centre. Even when we are completely overwhelmed by fear, anger, grief, and helplessness, we still have our hearts. When we gather with sacred intent, we create a field of energy that projects harmony, love, and protection.

The heart is where our commitment to collective liberation lives. Anchored there, we can keep showing up for the work of justice with the patience, compassion and power it asks of us.

We will spend some time reflecting on how to find balance in the middle of so much turmoil, and how to resist getting swept away at the expense of our own sacred heart centre, the well spring of patience, compassion and power. We will then practice a Kundalini yoga kriya (breathwork  and movement) and meditation to activate and consolidate our heart energy.

Together, we root in the heart so that we can rise for the world we are fighting for.

How we’ll flow together

  • Arrive and ground together
  • Reflection on finding balance amid turmoil
  • A Kundalini yoga kriya to activate the heart centre
  • A meditation to consolidate our heart energy
  • Closing reflection and prayer

This is for you if:

  • You feel the world splitting into extremes and notice it in your body, mind or life
  • You are overwhelmed by fear, anger, grief or helplessness and want somewhere to steady yourself
  • You want to anchor in your heart so you can keep showing up for the work of collective liberation
  • You are curious about Kundalini yoga and meditation as practices of sacred activism
  • You want to gather with others with sacred intent and feel held in community

What You’ll Need:

  • A quiet, private space where you can sit and move undisturbed
  • A mat, cushion or chair, and comfortable clothing you can move in
  • A blanket and a glass of water
  • Paper and pen if you'd like to reflect in writing
  • Your full, feeling, messy, raw, unfiltered, caring, soft and fiery self

In this space, we ask that you commit to:

  • Showing up exactly as you are. Your humanity with its grief, sorrow, rage, inspiration, joy, hope and everything in between is welcome.
  • Being respectful and reflective about opinions, perspectives and lived experiences that are different to yours.

This space is faciliated by Naar.

I am a Craniosacral therapist, Kundalini Yoga and Meditation teacher and my practice is focused on mental health and trauma recovery – lately my practice has focused exclusively on Holocaust survivors from Gaza.

I have a profound dedication to mind-body healing and have pursued several devotional and healing paths over the last 35 years. I continue to explore the Blue Lotus teachings in the Egyptian tradition, with mentors and teachers in Egypt.I am also currently an apprentice at the School of the Sacred Wild, where I am learning to become a Green Witch!
