Heartworks Lomi Lomi is traditional Hawaiian bodywork that originated from healers treating warriors in Maui. Taught to the west by a Kahuna (Master) Sherman Dudoit, Heartworks was named because of the effect on opening the heart and it's stimulating and flushing effect of the lymphatic system and spinal column. It is carried out as a meditation with a flowing connection of Mana (life force), breathed in from the Divine, through the heart of the giver and in to the body of the receiver. It is a body, mind and soul healing with Pule (prayer), Love (aloha) and breath (ha)

Learn in easy steps - a sequence of movements and strokes for the whole  body that focus on cleansing the lymphatic system by pushing fluids to the lymph nodes. It's great for helping people cleanse with physical illnesses and for those who feel stuck - to get their Mana (life force) moving again, and for general release and relaxation with ocean-like trance inducing strokes.

I am blessed to share with you, this lineage of Lomi Lomi, passed to me by my Kumu (Teacher) Wayne Kealohi who learned closely from the well loved Kahuna, Sherman Dudoit. Heartworks is a beautiful lineage, also known as 'Traditional - Old Style' Lomi Lomi as it is one of the oldest forms that was kept secret until some Kahuna's decided to share it with the world for the healing of all.

This course is great for those who have no massage experience, it's a set of easy to remember and rhythmic massage strokes.

This course is also great for experienced practitioners of massage and Lomi Lomi who want to add another tool to their box of magic.

After this course you will be qualified to practice on clients, friends and family.

“One of the most essential imperatives of this tradition is that Lomi Lomi was a modality of pure love. The work must come from the heart and through the hands resulting in healing and bonding at a level beyond comprehension by the mind; it is a movement of pure love and grace, even to observe a ‘treatment’ is to receive it… This is the way of Traditional Lomi Lomi in the Old Style.” - Sherman Dudoit

What will I learn?

A traditional Hawaiian massage for personal or professional use.

The spiritual and cultural history of Lomi Lomi massage.

Pule - Prayer; how to set intentions and prayers with clients.

Oli - Chants; a traditional Hawaiian chant invoking higher wisdom.

Bone washing - a technique clearing ancestral karma held in the skin around the bones.

You will learn to breathe in Divine Love and guide a breathing meditation at the beginning, encouraging your receiver to continue focusing on their breath throughout. This deep rhythmic breathing will help the body release physical and emotional tension as much as the bodywork.
