A creative day retreat for womxn; step into an imaginal labyrinth and journey within to explore your internal landscape through story, movement and mark-making. Follow the meandering path inwards and outwards, honouring the season of change and abundance, letting go and gathering in as we release, receive and return to our own intuitive, creative voice.
Facilitated by Orla and Krissy, trauma-informed therapeutic practitioners and creatives.
The day will follow the traditional rhythm of a labyrinth walk.
- Opening: a grounding & meditation; an opportunity to quiet your mind
- Releasing: letting go through guided story, movement & mark-making
- Receiving: a moment to pause, rest and welcome abundance (vegan lunch provided)
- Returning: a creative journey outwards, exploring newly discovered insights with playfulness and compassion
- Closing: a honouring of your journey
Open to all womxn over the age of 18. Come as you are in comfortable clothing, bring water and anything else you may need. Vegan lunch and refreshments provided, please let us know if you have any additional dietary requirements.
We strive to facilitate an inclusive space, with this in mind if you have any access needs you want us to know about and/or financial barriers to attending please email meanderingartscollective@gmail.com
This project is a Meandering Arts collaboration: a creative collective facilitating connection with self, community and nature through storytelling and creative arts.
