Tea Ceremony with Iza

☾𖤓˚☾ ゚。⋆⋆。˚꩜⋆。˚꩜

Join us for a Tea Ceremony and guided meditation in Hampstead Heath. We’ll explore the uses, properties, and energies of Nettle—a plant of fire, nourishment, and protection. Connect with yourself, the plant, and the wisdom it carries.

We’ll conclude with an opportunity to share song, tuning in with what is present and waiting for us to slow down and pay attention.

Event Details:

  • Date: Saturday 26th April
  • Time: 12-2pm
  • Location: Hampstead Heath (meeting point tbc)
  • What to Bring: A cup for tea, a notebook for your discoveries, and an open mind. We'll be sitting on logs or grass if it's sunny!

This is a space for curiosity, connection, and grounding—a time to step into the calm of the natural world.

Isabel Openshaw (Iza) feels a deep love for the natural world and is devoted to exploring the world of medicinal plants through learning, experience and collaboration. She hopes to help guide folks back to the union with ourselves and the Earth by the gateway of the herbs. She leads folks on medicinal plant walks and hosts tea meditations alongside researching plants and fungi. At the moment she works at Kew Gardens, researching forest ecology and the interactions between the trees and mycorrhizal fungi.
