Could fascia be the bridge between body and mind?

Could fascia play a crucial role in psychedelic experience?

Join us for a journey into the evolving science of fascia - exploring its ancient wisdom, modern breakthroughs, and its profound connections to altered states of consciousness.

Renata Carvalho, a Rolfing® practitioner and movement educator, will guide us through the latest research on fascia’s role in nervous system regulation, movement intelligence, and somatic healing. But fascia is far more than just connective tissue: it’s a dynamic, intelligent network that responds to breath, emotion, and even expanded states of awareness.

Emerging research suggests that fascia may play a crucial role in the psychedelic experience, storing trauma, facilitating neuroplasticity, and even influencing the flow of consciousness itself.

Come ready to explore, question, and expand your perception of the body as a living, interconnected ecosystem of awareness.

ABOUT Renata Carvalho

Renata is a certified Rolfer®, recognized by the European Rolfing® Association in Munich, accredited by the Dr. Ida Rolf Institute® in Boulder, US, and a member of the UK Rolfing® Association.

Her journey as a practitioner began with my her experience as a Rolfing® client. After her first Rolfing® process in 2019, she developed a profound interest in understanding the human body, especially the interplay between the fascial and nervous systems, as well as the principles of polyvagal theory and phenomenological anatomy.

Currently, she's training to become a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, further deepening her ability to support clients in their healing and well-being.
