Mystical Springtime Retreat

Join us in a place between worlds on a pilgrimage back into wholeness, soul, tribe  and a reconnection to the Ancient Mysteries. 

Enter Avalon this Springtime and dive into sacred spring water, connect to the wisdom of indigenous plants, dance, sit by the fire and be guided into a deepening with land, self, community and the otherworld.  

During the springtime, the Ancient ones would journey to Avalon to experience the power that this great awakening in the Earth's cycle offered. It is a time of growth, abundance, manifestation, joy and inner spring cleaning to make way for the new. Those connected to the ancient cycles and land mysteries knew that at this time, these energies could be harvested and integrated into their lives. 

Expect a deeply nourishing and transformative weekend where we will work with these themes, guided by ancient elemental Pagan ceremony, indigenous plant medicines such as Dandelion and Marigold, breath work, somatic practices for resetting the nervous system, heart cohesion work, deep nature immersion, song and vocal/creative expression, mantra, dream work and the tending and attuning to the deeper parts of ourselves that are seeking deeper balance, nurture and love.

Avalon (or in this dimension, Glastonbury) is a place to be experienced to be truly understood. The myths and legends are woven into the fabric of the land, from the Holy Grail to the Great Goddess, the gateway to the galactics and the faery kingdom of Awnwnn. 

Known in ancient times as the heart of the Druids, and the heart chakra of the world, this major intersection of ley lines (energy channels of the Earth) provides a perfect place to undergo powerful transformation.

The Venue: 

We will meet at the stunning boutique retreat centre Sambogaya on Chalice Hill. Legend has it that after Christ's death, the Holy Grail was buried on this hill. Whatever your belief, this is a deeply sacred place full of mystery and magic. 

We will have fire ceremonies in the garden, practices for soul alchemy in the Temple room & banquets cooked by our exceptional Michelin Star chef in the evenings.

Your Facilitator

Laura has facilitated with Psychedelic Society since 2017. After a decade of working with shamanic plant medicine, she offers transformational spaces designed to explore the darker parts of our psyche in order to experience deeper love, expansion and liberation. Currently she is studying to be a doctor of the Amazonian Master Plants and lives part time in the Amazon Rainforest with an indigenous maestro. 

Over a decade ago, she travelled the Americas working in NGOs focusing on ecological sustainability before discovering the ancient keys to the psyche found in the plants of the rainforest. Experiencing a deeper sense of reality inspired the creation of transformative arts company Infinite Experience, who travelled the world with their interactive theatre piece designed to transcend separateness. She now holds workshops, ceremonies, retreats and 1-1 sessions designed to connect people to their deeper essence guided by her experience and years of training in healing modalities.

Josh Swords 

Josh is somatic coach and breathwork facilitator with a speciality in neuroscience and trauma informed techniques. The core of his work is to reconnect you to your deeper truth and divine essence through releasing fear and trauma.

Lila Lilianna Rose 

Lila aligns with her deep connection to her intuition, psychic awareness and ancient womb-knowing to offer support and guidance to those who feel a resonance with her offerings.

After completing Teacher Training in 2010,  Lila held Kundalini Yoga and Meditation sessions for groups and private clients in London and around the UK for over 10 years.

Also being a singer and having a deep love for the power of healing sound, she was moved to facilitate Full and New Moon Gong and Sound Bath events.

In 2012 Lila had a deeply challenging experience during her menstrual cycles which catalysed a journey into the womb and thus began her journey home to Divine Feminine wisdom.

Lila is also one half of the sacred sound and world music duo, Illumina, with her partner Anaam. For over 12 years they have shared their beautiful vocals, melodies and powerful live concerts in many festivals, sacred gatherings, transitional ceremonies and at prestigious venues such as the Royal Academy of Arts, The Indian High Commission & Alternatives UK - Saint James Church in Piccadilly.

Once you have booked, you will gain access to our Whatsapp group for carpooling which is where most participants find transport. 

There are various other ways to get to Glastonbury including bus, coach & train. Transportation is your personal responsibility to arrange.

ACCESS:  We do our best to include everyone in our events, regardless of health circumstances. If you have access requirements please email the event organiser directly to discuss. Many facilitators are able to offer reduced ticket prices for those truly unable to afford the ticket price.
