Join us for an intimate and educational evening exploring the art of Japanese rope bondage with Shibari practitioner and educator Anna Noctuelle.
In this Shibari Intro Taster Class, Anna will guide us through the origins and evolution of Shibari, from its roots in Japan to its diverse contemporary expressions around the world. You'll discover the different styles of rope work and get an insight into Anna’s personal and intuitive approach to the practice.
This session is designed for absolute beginners and no prior experience is needed.

Whether you’re attending solo or with a partner, you’ll have the chance to try out a few simple ties yourself in a safe, supportive space. There will also be time for open Q&A, so feel free to bring your curiosity and any questions you may have.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
- An overview of Shibari history and philosophy
- Introduction to various Shibari styles
- Anna’s approach to rope as a tool for connection and communication
- Hands-on practice with basic ties
- Open discussion and Q&A
Please wear comfortable clothing you can move in, and bring your own yoga mat.
ABOUT ANNA:

With 20 years of experience, Anna Noctuelle is a highly skilled Shibari practitioner whose journey began as a personal exploration and evolved into a multifaceted practice. She teaches, models, and performs internationally, captivating audiences and sharing her passion for this beautiful art form. Anna’s background in classical dance and her yoga practice infuse her Shibari practice with grace and body awareness, while her studies in Buddhism, Tantra, and Shamanism provide a spiritual depth to her work. She is committed to creating safe, inclusive environments where curiosity, courage, and playfulness thrive and offers workshops, private classes and sessions.

Carlotta is an Event Coordinator at The Psychedelic Society, with a deep passion for nature, personal and collective growth, mystical experiences and food (Italian roots play a big role here!).
Psychedelics have profoundly transformed her life, opening her mind to new perspectives and deeper self-awareness, allowing her to break free from the 9-5 grind and to launch her own PR and Events company - Carlotta PR.
