Join the Thames Region Ecological Association (TREA) and the Institute for Community Sustainability (ICS) for an online discussion about how a circular economy benefits the planet - and everything on it! Share your thoughts on topics like tackling climate change, cleaner water and water conservation, increased resource recovery, expanding the definition of wealth, increasing biodiversity, reducing waste, and more!

- Plastic pollution has been discovered in groundwater, oceans, rivers, lakes, and even drinking water around the globe
- By transitioning to a Circular Economy for plastics, Canadians can prevent 1.8 megatonnes of carbon dioxide equivalents from entering the atmosphere every year
- It takes 2,700 litres of fresh water to grow the amount of cotton needed to make just one cotton t-shirt
- The populations of vertebrate species (animals with a backbone) has declined by approximately 68% since 1970 - with freshwater species being hit the hardest
