You are warmly invited to join us for a special Heartsongs gathering with sacred oil anointing.  We sing together for spiritual connection, healing, empowerment and joy, and we turn inwards through shared silence to tend our hearts and replenish our spirits.

What to expect

Through song and meditation, we'll be dropping into a sense of Deep Time and inviting individual and collective remembrance of our soul's deepest knowing, asking the question: ‘What wants to come through me?’

The session will include a ceremony of anointing with sacred oils, offering a bridge between the intelligence of the soul, and our lived experience as human beings on this earth.

We'll also be recalling and honouring the pivotal role of Mary Magdalene in the Christ event, and weaving in words from her rediscovered Gospel.

Who is it for?

Anyone who would like to connect in an inclusive spiritual context, to learn devotional songs, to sit in silent meditation and to spend time dropping into communion with the all-that-is.

More about the theme

In the Christian calendar, 1 November is All Saints' Day, falling within a season that encompasses Samhain and Halloween, Mexico's Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead), All Souls' Day on 2 November, and, in the UK, Remembrance Sunday on 8 November.

Across different cultures and spiritual traditions, this is a time for remembering the dead and honouring our ancestors. In some traditions, it is understood as a time when the veil between the worlds of the living and the dead is particularly thin.

Perhaps we might also see this as a time when the boundaries between past, present and future become more permeable: when, through remembrance and deep listening, we can draw on the wisdom and support of those who came before us while becoming more receptive to the future as it reveals itself in the present moment.

'Remember why you came' is a call to step more fully into our soul's purpose, to remember our place in the family of things, and to find our rest in the arms of love.

The gifting approach - pay what you can

All our events are offered on a gift basis, which means there’s no financial barrier to participation. This is a bit different to simply inviting donations, we’re asking you to feel into a contribution that feels right for you.  One of the factors we ask you to take into account is how much you might pay elsewhere for something similar - likely between £10 and £35 for this event.

We have created a sliding scale to  help you to decide on your financial gift as well as further guidelines and reflections on the subject of Living in the Gift.  Please read this through if you are new to the gifting approach and want to learn more about our ethos.

Suggested gifts  for this event: £10 Supported; £18 Standard; £25 Abundant; £35 Abundant Plus.

It's OK if your gift is anywhere along this sliding scale or indeed less or more than we are suggesting - we trust you to make this decision.   Your gift will ensure that we can continue offering sessions to everyone who needs them, regardless of their financial circumstances.

If the booking form is not accessible for you, please get in touch and we will do our best to help.
