Whether you are looking for your partner in crime, a juicy lover, or someone who sparks your curiosity, Slow Dating will inspire deeper intimacy, real conversation, and a whole lotta fun.
“Juicy. Gorgeous. Heart opening.”
“Both light and deep at the same time!”
“Love the community it creates and the souls it attracts.”
Slow Dating?
Speed dating offers the chance to meet many new people at once, but it rarely gives us the opportunity to really drop in together. In our desire to impress others we often put on a persona, rather than showing up as we are.
We advocate the virtue of slowness: taking your sweet time to arrive, connect, and follow your desires. By slowing down you become more sensitive to the chemistry arising, and are more likely to follow your instincts to find genuine connections that are right for you.
We welcome the full version of you, with all your quirks and imperfections, for this is really where the magic happens.
“Amazing event with endless beautiful moments for connection, great heart to heart present conversations. I will be in contact with many of the people I met there and honestly think it is the best dating event I have been to.”
On the night
We’ll break the ice with fun warm up games to relax into the evening.
We’ll gently guide you through a series of connection exercises to get beneath the surface.
We’ll dive into intimate questions you’ve always wanted to ask, so you can skip the small talk.
Expect:
Laughter and silliness
Fun connection games
Deep conversations
Falling in love, just a little bit.
Whether you meet the love of your life or simply nourish your heart with meaningful exchanges, you’ll leave feeling enriched, intrigued and inspired.
Age Range
The event tends to attract folks between 28ish - 40ish. This is only a guide though, noone will be turned away if you fall outside of this suggested age bracket.
A Note On Gender & Inclusion
This event is structured primarily for heterosexual relationships, but everyone is welcome to join.
You will mostly be dating people of the opposite sex. However, we are welcoming and inclusive of other gender and relationship expression, including LGBTQ+. If this is going to make you feel uncomfortable we suggest this isn't for you.
Discrimination or prejudice of peoples gender, sexuality, relationship expression, disability, age, body or ethnicity will not be tolerated under any circumstance.
On occasion the event may have an imbalance of genders due to last minute cancellations. Multiple dates with people who identify with different genders as you aren't always guaranteed. We try our best to accommodate on the night and encourage guests to arrive with an open and curious heart to make new friendships and to have fun!
Venue
We are trying out a new venue, The Steam & Crane.
The function room has recently been refurbished. Keeping with the original building architecture with timber frames, high ceilings and big windows. Drinks will be available at the bar during and after the event.
The downstairs main building, toilet and garden are accessible by wheelchair. Unfortunately, due to the age and layout of the building, the upstairs area is only accessible by stairs and cannot be accessed in a wheelchair.
Refunds Policy
Please note, we do not arrange refunds or exchanges. When possible we encourage reselling on Ticketswap.
