What is The Cauldron?
The Cauldron is a explorative creation space for women and femme artists.
These times are tricky and in tricky times creativity, art making and finding hope become fundamental. This space aims to be a collaborative and fertile space for expression, connection and understanding.
We are at the beginning of forming The Cauldron, with the aim of different artists holding leadership of each week with a simple format to enable embodied improvisation and build a practise of devising. The aim is to create a group where we can make live art together through our collective explorations.
We are starting with 2 sessions in October with the view to building in the new year!
Come and be part of the start of something new, as we remember the wisdom of creating and playing together!
Who can attend?
To begin with, the space is open to women and femme artists (trans, NB+ inclusive). By ‘artists’, we mean anyone with past experience of or a current practice in embodied creativity (eg: dance, theatre, performance art, singing, circus). *At present this space is only open to women, NB and femme folks. We may open this up more in future.
