We are thrilled to present a special workshop led by local London activist, Stevie Bees, founder of Stevie’s Safe Spaces. Stevie is dedicated to creating inclusive and safe environments for everybody, and their work has made a significant impact both locally and across the world.

Join us for an engaging Trans 101 workshop where Stevie will provide an introduction to transgender identities, covering essential terms, types of transitions, and how to be a better ally. This conversational session will also include an open Q&A period, allowing participants to ask respectful questions in a safe and supportive space.

This event is Pay What You Can (PWYC), with 100% of proceeds going to Fairy Godparents, a London-based non-profit organization that supports 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals and families by filling gaps in social supports. Fairy Godparents runs initiatives such as the Period Equity Project, which makes menstrual supplies available for free, and the Greyson Jones Memorial Scholarship, which supports transgender students.

In addition to the workshop, attendees will have the opportunity to purchase t-shirts, stickers, and other merch from Stevie's Safe Spaces. Light refreshments will also be available.

Join us for an important and empowering conversation, and leave with the tools to help foster safer, more inclusive spaces for all.

Pay What You Can

We recognize that people have different financial circumstances and we don't want to exclude anyone because of inability to pay. At the same time, we want to give those whose means are more abundant the opportunity to contribute more.

If you're not sure how much to give, we suggest somewhere between $5 and $20 per person. At the same time, you can just give a dollar or two, or select zero dollars - it's totally ok! You're also welcome to give much more if your circumstances allow and you're feeling extra generous :) Thank you for whatever you can contribute to Fairy Godparents!
