A deeply immersive sound journey. Ancient and otherworldly.

This isn’t your average sound bath. Joe brings something completely different. A sound experience that blends ancient instruments, throat singing and global rhythms with modern sound design. Using flutes from across the world, including Mayan flutes, overtone-rich instruments, sacred percussion and powerful throat singing, he creates a journey that feels like travelling through cultures, landscapes and timelines.

Throat singing, rooted in Central Asian traditions like Tuvan and Mongolian music, is a vocal technique that allows one person to produce multiple tones at once. The sound is raw, deep and resonant. It has long been used in spiritual and ceremonial settings to connect the body, breath and spirit to the land and the unseen.

Alongside the traditional instruments, Joe uses his laptop to build a completely bespoke soundscape. He pulls together textures and tones that carry you from one world to another. This is sound travel in every sense of the word.

The sound will be played through quadraphonic speakers, creating a multi-directional field of sound and frequency that surrounds you. You won’t just hear it. You’ll feel the vibration moving through the space and your body. The frequencies are designed to connect on a deeper level and invite rest, release and a sense of being fully held.

The studio will be completely transformed for the session. Candlelight, toned ambient lighting, grounding scent and a warm cup of Blue Lotus Tea on arrival. Every detail is there to help your body land softly and ease into stillness.

Blue Lotus Tea has been used for thousands of years in ritual and healing practices. Known for its calming and heart-opening qualities, it helps quiet the mind and bring the body into a state of gentle openness. It’s offered at the start of the session as a way to arrive, settle and begin the journey inward.

You can lie down, sit or gently move. There’s no right way to experience it. All you need to do is show up, drop in and let the sound carry you.

Joe Dalziel

Joe is a sonic explorer who is on a journey exploring sounds from different times and places across the world. A sound journey artist who is bringing a variety of wind instruments, throat singing techniques and more into the space to create a deep, powerful meditative, moving sound experience to the listeners.
