Men's Circle: People Pleasing

Most men were never taught how to truly belong to themselves.

We were taught to be good.
To be liked.
To keep the peace.
To not disappoint.

Somewhere along the way, People Pleasing became survival.
And slowly, almost invisibly, we lost touch with our own truth.

But here’s the cost:
• Saying yes when you mean no
• Avoiding conflict but building quiet regret and resentment
• Performing strength while feeling disconnected inside
• Becoming who you think you need to be… instead of who you are

What lies underneath?

This circle is a space to understand and a chance to interrupt that pattern.

Together, we’ll explore:
• Where did your people pleasing begin, and what was it protecting?
• What do you fear might happen if you disappoint others?
• Where are you abandoning yourself to maintain connection?
• What does honest, grounded masculinity feel like beyond approval-seeking?

Through guided sharing, reflection, and embodied practices, we’ll begin to separate authenticity from conditioning, and reconnect to a more solid, self-trusting way of being.

This is not about becoming selfish. It’s about becoming real. Not about rejecting others, but about no longer rejecting yourself.

About your Facilitator

Jozef is a trained architect and offer's coaching to create your own universe,  bridging design with human potential and transformation though coaching, facilitation and men's work. He trained with the Co-Active Training Institute (CTI), FLOW Coaching Institute, and PQ Coaching. He now partners with individuals and teams, facilitating learning, transitions, and growth,  helping people and organisations thrive from the inside out. 

His work is rooted in a calm presence, shaped by years of mindfulness, meditation, and embodiment practices. Guided by natural curiosity and a passion for art and innovation, he recognises and works with the intricate structures and patterns that influence our spaces, minds, and lives.

ACCESS:  We do our best to include everyone in our events, regardless of health circumstances. If you have access requirements please email the event organiser directly to discuss. Many facilitators are able to offer reduced ticket prices for those truly unable to afford the ticket price.
