Equinox Ceremony Invitation

You are warmly invited to join us as we gather to honour the potent energy around the time of the Autumn Equinox.

Together, we’ll immerse ourselves in the healing rhythms of dance, drums, ritual, and the heart-opening medicine of Cacao. This is an invitation to turn inward - through soulful self-reflection - while nurturing connection, community, and co-creative synergy.

As we attune to the cycles of nature, we deepen our understanding of our own inner seasons. With the balance of day and night, we are invited to pause and reflect on what's ready to be harvested, celebrated, and released. Autumn invites us to listen closely to the quiet wisdom within and open to the transformations unfolding beneath the surface. Like falling leaves, we practice the grace of letting go and making space for what's emerging.

Through ceremony, we step across a threshold into the unknown, where our individual dances unite in a shared field of presence and gratitude. We honour the sacred interconnectedness of all beings and extend our love to all our relations.

Meet Your Facilitator – Mira Khanya

Mira crafts immersive dance journeys, drawing on the wisdom of Movement Medicine while infusing her own unique approach. With a rich background in dance, theatre, and the healing arts, she intuitively guides transformative experiences - gateways to connection - while weaving a tapestry of global sounds with deep intention and reverence for life.

Inviting expressive movement and embodied freedom, her work fosters community, togetherness, and compassionate presence - with ourselves, each other, and the wider web of life. Mira collaborates with festivals and events across the UK and internationally, bringing her offerings into spaces of healing, transformation, and celebration.

Special Guest - Dembis Thioung

We are honoured to welcome back Dembis Thioung - an Ancestral West African Rhythm Keeper, master drum-maker, and percussionist originally from Senegal. Specialising in Dundun, Djembe, Sabar, Calabash and Asico drums, Dembis bridges tradition and innovation. His artistry connects hearts through the primal power of rhythm, creating unforgettable moments of unity. We are blessed to have Dembis and friends join us once again in ceremony!

Enchanted Ritual Cacao

We are honoured to serve Enchanted Ritual Cacao as part of our ceremony - a powerful and sacred blend crafted to support emotional balance, spiritual clarity, and physical vitality. This alchemical elixir unites the revered cacao of the Arhuaco Indigenous People of Colombia with Lilly extract, Nano Diamond, Monatomic Gold, Frankincense, and Myrrh. Together, these elements work in harmony to uplift the spirit, deepen connection, and enhance meditation - opening pathways to joy, compassion, and inner peace.

Upon booking, you’ll be prompted to read and accept our guidelines, which help create a safe and supportive space for all. These include important information about the special Enchanted Ritual Cacao we serve, including ingredients and contraindications.

Booking Information

Booking early is recommended - spaces tend to fill quickly.

Supporter Fee: If you're a high earner, please consider paying the supporter fee to help subsidise concession spaces.
Concessions: We're happy to offer a limited number of concession spaces. If cost is a barrier, please don't hesitate to reach out via email - we'd love to support you if we can.
Confirmation Email: Essential details will be sent upon booking - please read carefully and follow any instructions.
Booking for someone else? Use their email and name to ensure they receive communication before and after the ceremony, and ensure they read and agree to the guidelines.
Ticket Transfers: Can’t make it? You’re welcome to transfer your ticket - just email us with the recipient’s name and email.
Ticket Resale: Once a ticket type is sold out, log into the Dandelion website to mark yours for resale.
Refunds: We do not offer refunds or exchanges, except in the case of event cancellation by the organiser, in which case a full refund will be issued.

Important Information - Please Read!

Cacao:
Not recommended for those on SSRIs, MAOIs, blood pressure/heart medication, immunosuppressants, or with a history of stroke. Avoid if you have epilepsy, IBS, migraines, nut allergies, or sensitivities to chocolate or caffeine. Not recommended if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Consult a healthcare professional if unsure.

Enchanted Ritual Cacao is infused with Lilly, Frankincense, Myrrh, Monatomic Gold, and Nano Diamond—ingredients chosen with care to support a deeply heart-opening and subtle energetic experience. If cacao isn’t for you, please choose the tea option at the check out. We invite you to listen to your body and choose what feels most supportive. The dance itself is a powerful medicine with or without cacao, or with just a small amount.  Your wellbeing is our utmost priority.

Substance-Free Space: 
Please refrain from consuming any drugs, alcohol or other substances before or during the event. The dance itself is the medicine.

Communication: 
During the dance, we ask that you refrain from chatting to help us maintain a collective focus & intention without distraction. Please whisper if you need to communicate with others.

Wellbeing: 
Take responsibility for your own body and wellbeing. Adjust your dance according to any injuries or physical limitations you may have and remain aware of others and your surroundings. Let’s practice self care.

Boundaries: 
Be mindful of physical contact and always respect and honour your own and others’ boundaries. Be confidential, and whatever we share during verbal sharing sessions stays in the room.

Support: 
If you feel unsure or uncomfortable for any reason, or if you have hurt yourself, please come speak to a member of our crew who will be standing near the DJ table. We are here to support you.

Recording: 
For everyone’s comfort, we request that participants do not take photos or videos during the dance. However, at a certain moment, a crew member may take a discreet video or a few photos from a distance to capture the collective energy of the group. These images are not intended to focus on any individual, but rather to document the group as a whole. If you prefer not to be included, please let a crew member know at the end, and we will honour your request.

Punctuality: 
Please check your travel route and travel times beforehand and plan accordingly. Always good to arrive a few minutes early.

Commitment: 
Please commit to stay for the entire journey. We invite you to use the practice to move through whatever emotions may arise – Movement is the Medicine. Your presence matters, and leaving early impacts not only your own journey but also the group.

Clothing: 
Wear comfortable clothes for moving. Please keep your body clothed with tops and bottoms, and let’s find the liberation in the dance. Layers is recommended to help regulate body temperature. Remove heavy jewellery and watches that may cause injury to yourself or others.

Footwear: 
We dance barefoot. If you need to wear shoes, please ensure they are shoes with non-slip soles and have not been worn outside. Avoid dancing in socks that may cause you to slip.

Belongings: 
Please keep track of your belongings and be responsible for them. Ensure that you take everything with you when you leave.

Hydration: 
Stay hydrated and bring a reusable water bottle.

Booking on Behalf of Someone Else: 
When booking a ticket on behalf of someone else, you are responsible for ensuring they have read and agree to the guidelines and have received the confirmation email and take necessary action – including relating to cacao.

Ticketing: 
Tickets are non-refundable but transferable to another person for the same dance. Please email details of the new participant’s name and their email to mirakhanya@gmail.com.

We appreciate your commitment to these guidelines and the safe and supportive community that we are building together.
