This month we are delighted to be bringing in the unique talent of Emmy the Harp who will be accompanying the embodiment practice with her enchanting musical soundscape.
Drawing on traditional and contemporary practices, this will be a fun and cathartic journey to engineer states of flow and joy. Connecting to others, deeper states of self, and to our center of joy, the session will consist of:
- An open and closing guided meditation
- Pranayama (breathwork)
- A vinyasa yoga flow incorporating elements of qi gong
- Vocal improvisation and laughter practice
- Group singing
- Sharing circle
We will be working with the theme of flow. As we smoothly glide on the flow of breath, we encourage you to find ease as you transition between different physical poses and gestures, and varying mental states.
This adventure will be both revitalizing and profoundly silly. In a space free of judgment, we encourage you to find your inner child as we dance, laugh, and make noise together.
THE VENUE DOES NOT SUPPLY MATS SO PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN
With ongoing cases of COVID-19, we require you to have a negative lateral flow test before entering. The room will be well ventilated and we will do our best to be mindful of social distancing. There will also be a temperature check on entry.

Awesome couple of days with a beautiful set of people. I went into a room full of strangers and I left having built deep connections and understanding between our weird community of lunatics. Thank you everyone x

Beautiful event! Martha's yoga flow felt as an introduction, connecting to the body and getting in touch with the energy within, bringing it up, so Pete can guide it through another powerful, explosive flow. Pete's play was physical and expressive and all the different emotions that came up felt dissolved through laughter. It brought up the child energy and gave it a healing space to be, in dance with other's. Thank you!🙏💚

I loved this class! It was safe, expressive, and very good fun! Laughing is the biggest remedy and it was really enjoyable to share that with other people <3

Magical, lush and explosively silly! I enjoyed this even more than last time and came away with the same joyous, expansive feeling. Especially enjoyed the sharing circle at the end and hearing people's journeys to where they were in that space and how their emotion came out for them. The 'real' laughter parts, especially when it was mildly innapropriate (as it can be in that safe space) were so wonderful... and also the experience of laughing while facing someone. If more of that could be fostered that would be great, perhaps so you get to experience it with more than one person through the session.
