Sacred Activist Collective: a space for justice-hearted souls to root, gather and rise

We are a community of justice-hearted souls who care deeply, for the Earth, for each other, and for a liberated world.

We honour our interconnection with all life: land and lineage, breath and body, ancestors and animals, soil and stars. We gather to remember our sacred responsibility and our collective power to create the world we long for.

We host free online gatherings every two weeks, with an intention to lighten the weight of the world with practices that strengthen our bodymind, deepen our connections, and awaken our personal and collective power. Our spaces follow a living rhythm:

🌱 Root: Create space within your bodymind to release tension, process emotion, and return to your centre through embodied, creative, and restorative practices.
🌀 Gather: Come together in community to witness and be witnessed, share truth, and remember that our struggles and hopes are carried more lightly when held collectively.
🔥 Rise: Anchor into your inner and collective power, reclaim your agency, and practice the liberatory ways of being that move us toward a freer world.

You might call yourself a social activist, environmentalist, advocate, artist, change-maker, Earth-warrior, ally or you might not. No matter how you define or show your care for the world, this space is for you, because you need collective care too.

Gather: We're not imagining this - collective shadows

A sharing circle for truth, grief and solidarity

We are living through a time of rising fear, fascism, and fragmentation.
Across the UK and the world, racism, Islamophobia, anti-semitism, and authoritarianism are tightening their grip, and many of us are feeling it in the depth of our souls.

For some, it’s the heartbreaking pain of questioning what part of my identity will be attacked? For others, it’s the grief of watching the country we thought we knew slip further into division and denial. Where flags wave as symbols of fear, speaking truth is framed as extremism, and where we are gaslit into believing we are imagining it.

But we are not imagining this. We are not imagining the shadow of the world that is being unveiled at what feels like an accelerated pace.
And we are not alone in our experiencing and witnessing.

The tightening of control, the rising hate, the numbing, the apathy are the collective shadows of dominance, fear, and separation being pulled to the surface.
And though it’s painful, it’s also an invitation to remember our shared humanity, to hold what’s dark with compassion, and to keep our hearts open when the world wants us to close.

This gathering is a space to name what we see and feel, without being dismissed, bypassed, or told to “calm down.” A space to speak from the body, not just the mind. To share the fear, the anger, the grief, and the exhaustion.
And to remember that our capacity to still feel is the medicine that keeps us human.

We’ll open with breath and grounding, then move into two rounds of sharing to name what’s happening, and to gather collective wisdom and strength. We’ll end with gentle movement to shake off what’s heavy and a closing prayer for courage, compassion, and protection for all who are suffering.

Because to gather, to feel, and to bear witness together is resistance.
And to stay rooted in love when the world tries to harden us is power.

How we’ll flow together:

  • Opening prayer
  • Round One: Naming what we see and how it’s affecting us.
  • Round Two: Remembering what gives us strength, courage, and connection.
  • Somatic pause: grounding breath and movement to release tension
  • Closing prayer and intention for solidarity, safety, and empathy.

This is for you if:

  • You feel afraid, angry, or disheartened by the state of the world.
  • You’re witnessing or experiencing racism, Islamophobia, anti-semtism, or fascism and need a space to talk about it.
  • You’re grieving what’s happening to your community, your country, or humanity.
  • You’re longing to gather with others who can hold truth, emotion, and complexity with care.

What You’ll Need:

  • (Optional) A candle or small light source.
  • (Optional) A journal or notepad.
  • An open heart, steady breath, and willingness to listen deeply, to yourself and others.

In this space, we ask that you commit to:

  • Showing up exactly as you are. Your humanity with its grief, sorrow, rage, inspiration, joy, hope and everything in between is welcome.
  • Being respectful and reflective about opinions, perspectives and lived experiences that are different to yours.
