Wholeness in the Psychedelic Age

Consciousness, Synthesis & the Future

An exploration with James Fadiman, celebrating 100 years since the first Institute of Psychosynthesis

This conversation is part of a  free webinar series on Psychosynthesis & Psychedelics, developed in partnership with the Association for the Advancement of Psychosynthesis (AAP) — a registered non-profit dedicated to making Psychosynthesis more accessible to practitioners and the wider public.

We’ll be exploring how Psychosynthesis — Roberto Assagioli’s psychology of the Self — can offer missing scaffolding for psychedelic preparation and integration today.

Why this matters:

James Fadiman is not only a leading figure in contemporary psychedelic research — he was also an early student of Assagioli (the founder of Psychosynthesis) in the 1960s. Just as psychedelics are returning to the mainstream, Psychosynthesis is having its own resurgence. Bringing these two lineages together offers a rare opportunity to enrich the field with a nuanced and integrative lens.

Themes we’ll cover:

• How psychedelics and Psychosynthesis together illuminate new pathways to wholeness

• The role of will, inner harmony, and Self in supporting expanded states

• How the “Psychedelic Renaissance” can benefit from a more integrative, transpersonal framework

• Reflections on 100 years since the founding of the Institute of Psychosynthesis in Rome

• Questions & reflections from the audience
