SOBER RAVE is back and we have a wonderful new venue, Lilian Prime MS Centre!
Come and dance however "dance" looks for you.
A few event details:
An hour of eclectic music from across the eras and genres delivered via silent disco headphones (provided).
We’ll start and end by landing gently, connecting with our self and each other together. I will offer very gentle breathing and grounding techniques. Previous dance experience not required. No expectations on how to move. I say: “anything I say is an invitation and so please only do what you feel comfortable with.”
Move in whatever way feels best for you. If you need to take a break, take a break. If you want to rave for an hour non-stop, go for it. If you want to try your best moves out, bring 'em along. If you want to sit, close your eyes, listen and let the music take you, do it!
Wear whatever you feel comfortable in. I bring the fun with dancing props and a lil fancy dress which is absolutely celebrated however not compulsory.
Please bring any water and snacks you need to help your energy! Lilian Prime have kindly given me access to their kitchen too where you can buy refreshments. All money raised from refreshments will go to the Centre.
There is Blue badge parking plus a few additional spaces outside. On-street parking which is up-to a 5 minute walk is free at weekends. If you are catching the bus into town, it's a 21 minute walk from the Bus station (https://maps.app.goo.gl/bcRDQhSkf8xHvMd89). You can also catch the 20, 22, 24 or 26 from town, get off at Wayzgoose Drive and walk for 12 minutes (saving ya legs).

I a trainee dance movement psychotherapist and facilitator.
I hold space to breathe, create, move talk and be.
I want to connect you to yourself, other people and that which cannot be named: some call it God, some consciousness, some the Divine. The name is unimportant, it's the feeling behind it!
I create calm gentle fun nurturing spaces to help you do this.
