About the event

We are Amy Cooper and Hannah Kempe, we bonded over skip diving, growing food, dancing and dressing up. We are artists who both love hosting and bringing people together.

You are invited to join us for a big sleepover weekend mixing open space and guided activities to support all our creative juices to flow around the theme of Wearable Wonders: make something wearable, be in your wonder.  

Is there a material that you want to explore being part of you, encasing, draping, entwining yourself? Have you witnessed power in what people wear? Power to attract, repel, protect, disguise? Where will you wear this wearable wonder? Will it last for your lifetime or be worn for a moment before becoming compost? Do you have an item of clothing that needs repair, adapting, adorning refining, to fulfil a desire you have,Is there an extravagant form you wish to become, become it. 

You decide what you want to make and wear , a hat, earring, cloak, skirt, waistcoat, socks, shoes, armour… yes anything…You will make a wonder to wear.

Come play, get messy, get curious, and walk away with skills and confidence to make your kitchen more alive, nourishing, fun and easy to manage.

A sleepover?

Bring your pyjamas, eye mask, earplugs, whatever you need, you are invited to a sleepover! We think there is something special about sleeping in a room with other people, each of us cosy in our own beds, sleeping as a pack, a collective. The farm has two purpose built sleepover spaces, a Giant Bunk House, with triple high adult sized bunk beds and a beautiful calm attic room.

If everything about this weekend appeals except the sleepover, please get in touch, we can send you some other accommodation options and you can buy a Day Ticket.

Day tickets

If you are local and would like to stay in your own bed, or if you are planning an airbnb offsite, you are welcome on our day ticket, which includes all meals and the activities from 8am - 10pm.

What is provided

• A daily rhythm of activities to participate in and contribute to
• There are barn, studio and outdoor spaces to get creative in

• Beautiful regenerative farmland to roam & explore

Useful things to bring for creating at Wearable Wonders:

• Bring materials and tools if you  have a specific project in mind
• Warm clothes for crafting and chilling in
• Weatherproof or a change of clothes for wandering the farm without worrying about the weather
• Footwear to wander the potentially wet and muddy farm
• Footwear for crafting and relaxing
• Towel for shower and sauna
• Swimwear for pond swimming and sauna.

Arrivals & Departures

• Arrivals between 4-6pm on Friday, we will have a sauna awaiting early arrivals.
• Dinner will be served 6.30-7.30.
• If you plan to arrive later than this please let us know. We ask that you have arrived, fed and settled yourself before the group welcome at 8pm.
• Departures between 4-6pm on Sunday, if you must leave before 4pm on Sunday please let us know.
