We will be using the story of The Handless Maiden along with immersive solo and group exercises.
Join these deep-dive workshops to awaken your intuition, alchemise your emotions and reclaim your sovereignty.

Session Outlines
Saturday Morning
In this session we will share the story of *The Handless Maiden and talk about the role myth & folklore can play in unlocking ancient and long-forgotten truths. We will explore about the role shame plays in blocking out our intuition and replacing it with the things we are told we ‘should’ be or do. After this we will connect with our deep knowing through intuitive movement and guided visualisation.
- Group agreements

Sunday Morning
This morning's session will be focused on emotional alchemy and your sovereignty. Often as mothers it is not safe to feel or express big emotions and so we keep them bottled up without ever releasing them. This can lead to feeling ‘weighed down’ or numb. In this safe container we will explore some of the clarity and vitality these emotions can give us when we give ourselves a safe space and time to feel them. We will also look at and set our own energetic, emotional and relational boundaries.
- Self attack vs Self celebration
- Maiden, Spirit, Queen exercise
- Emotional alchemy
- Love's Forcefield - ‘I am available for…' / 'I am not available for…'
- Take Aways and celebrations
*The Handless Maiden is a powerful fairy tale about a young woman who, after losing her hands due to her parents' vow, endures suffering and isolation with resilience. Her journey through hardship leads to healing and redemption, ultimately restoring her hands and happiness. The story explores themes of sacrifice, resilience, and the painful journey to reclaim one’s true self. The story is from Women's Who Run With The Wolves, in which Clarissa Pinkola Estés refers to it as “a remarkable story about a women's initiation into the underground forest through the rite of endurance.”
*Both sessions will be recorded.
