Art From the Heart: Paint Your Emotions, Manifest Your Dreams
Join Moody for a soulful journey of self-discovery and creative expression in this heart-centred art healing workshop. Over two transformative hours, we will explore the deep desires and needs of our hearts in relation to our lives and goals, using the power of art as our guide.
We begin with a calming heart meditation, designed to clear your heart space and invite clarity, allowing your true desires and intentions to flow freely. From there, we’ll engage in a collaborative and experimental exploration of mediums and materials, encouraging you to play, discover, and connect with what resonates most.Once you’ve found your flow, we’ll transition into creating personal manifestation pieces—artworks that embody your unique journey, dreams, and aspirations ready for the spring to arrive. Whether abstract, symbolic, or literal, your creation will serve as a tangible reflection of your inner world. To close, we’ll gather in a sharing circle, offering space for reflection, connection, and support. This is a beautiful opportunity to honour your emotions, gain insight into your creative process, and feel seen in a nurturing space.
What you'll receive:
- Your own individual manifestation piece to take home with you.
- A guided meditation to tap into your desires.
- Experimental play with a variety of supplies to choose from, bringing out the inner child.
- Community, speaking your desires out into the universe and to a supportive group for you to be seen and heard.
This workshop is a celebration of intuition, self-expression, and connection—not just with the materials, but with yourself and those around you. No previous art experience is necessary—just an open heart and a willingness to explore. Wear clothes you don’t mind getting messy, and feel free to bring any favourite art materials— A full selection will also be provided.
Come as you are, leave lighter, freer, and more connected. Your heart is waiting—let’s create together.
This is an LGBTQ+ & Neurodivergent friendly workshop!
Meet Your Facilitator:
Mia Wignall | Artist & Founder of Moody
Mia Wignall is a passionate art facilitator dedicated to guiding others on a journey of self-expression and healing through creativity. With a background in art therapy, having completed a course in London, and a degree in Illustration, she has spent her life using art as a powerful tool for emotional exploration, self-discovery, and healing.
As a neurodivergent artist, her creative journey has been deeply motivated by her own experiences navigating mental health. Art has been her sanctuary—a way to process emotions, connect with her subconscious, and bring a sense of balance to her inner world. It was through this journey that Moody was born—her series of expressive art workshops designed for those who struggle to feel seen and heard. She recognised a deep need for safe spaces where emotions could be freely explored and expressed without judgment. Moody creates an environment where participants can translate their feelings onto the canvas, using movement, texture, and colour as a form of release and self-understanding.
In her workshops, she fosters a space of playfulness, curiosity, and freedom, encouraging participants to let go of restrictions and embrace self-expression without judgment. She challenges the idea of "good" or "bad" art, instead helping others see their creations as unique reflections of their inner world—expressions to be explored and celebrated rather than critiqued.
Over the past year, she has worked as a freelance workshop leader, hosting transformative art experiences for both adults and children. This work has become her soul mission—to help others rediscover their creative voice, release emotions, and embrace art as a pathway to self-discovery and healing.
