Sunset Beach Rave with Gosia & Anna-Lisa!

Anna-Lisa and Gosia come together for a special Sunset Beach Rave under the Ecstatic Dance Brighton umbrella — bringing two different musical backgrounds, experiences and sounds to the same sandy dance floor.

Anna-Lisa brings her years of experience creating Ecstatic Dance spaces and taking people on journeys through music and movement. Gosia brings her roots in the club scene, her experience as a DJ and her own approach to building energy through sound.

For this first one, we’re bringing it all together and seeing where the music takes us,  playing waves of dance music including techno/house/electronica/breaks/trance/dnb & more to move with the water, the sky, the breeze and the birds.

On the beach we have a fire & cacao to hang out and connect.

Please note  - this is not an Ecstatic Dance, you are welcome to drop in and out of dancing and spend time socialising too.

DJ Timings:

5-6pm Anna-Lisa

6-8pm Gosia

About Gosia:

Gosia started DJing in the late 90s techno scene in Poland, shaped by the underground techno sound and its driving, raw energy. She was also involved in organising and supporting parties, from hometown raves in the woods to community centre events.

After many years away from the decks, she returned to DJing in 2024. The time spent raising her daughter changed how she connects with people and the world around her, and that naturally comes through in the music she plays.

Today, rather than being tied to one genre, she follows instinct, energy and flow, always searching for music that moves people, stirs something inside and creates a real connection on the dance floor. She is drawn to deep rhythms, hypnotic grooves and tribal percussion, building sets that move between tension, release and immersion.

Based in Brighton, she has played across underground platforms, and had mixes featured on @codesouthradio and @malfunction-disfunction radio show.

Outside of club nights, she also plays at sober conscious dance events. These spaces allow her to explore multi-genre sets that move freely between contrasts — light and dark, stillness and movement — creating journeys that feel both familiar and unexpected -  much like life itself. .

About Anna-Lisa;

Raised between the wilds of West Africa and the mystical lands of Avalon, Anna-Lisa creates transformative spaces for expression, empowerment, and play through music & movement. Blending deep, primal bass with sensual flow and electrifying drops, her carefully crafted dj journeys invite expansion, wild abandon, and soulful stillness.

Founder of Ecstatic Dance Brighton and co-founder of Avalon Dance Odyssey, she is a driving force in the conscious dance scene. Her work spans Ecstatic Dance UK, Bristol, Bath, Cardiff, Samsara Retreat, and major festivals like Wilderness, Boomtown, and Buddhafields. Sober club nights she pioneered and DJed for include Evolve Love, Girls Like Bass and Collective Frequencies. With a background in Taoist movement, well-being, and art therapy, she holds space for profound transformation through the power of dance.
