We warmly welcome you to come and join us for this extra special collaboration to see out the end of the year. Joining together in solidarity with hosts: Firebrand Poets, Music4unity and the London School of SolarPunk!

Wednesday 17th December, 6:30pm until late at The Post Bar, Tottenham.

7pm - Poetry Open Mic

Including an special interactive, poetic mediation on mutation, language and culture from the London School of Solar Punk!

9pm - Live music and Open Stage

Please bring your poems, songs, instruments, hearts, prayers and love for this inimical winter special.

The theme of this event is Beautiful Creatures which merges the London School of SolarPunk's series on monsters, and the beauty in diversity, intersectionality and the unique blend woven with social justice from Firebrand Poets and Music4unity!

The evening will feature a special talk on Mutation as part of the SolarPunk Social 'Monsters' series. This special season of talks looks at how monsters show up in our cultures as ways for us to understand our fears, our taboos, and our strengths. By exploring their depths and darkness we can alchemise the monster to reveal the beauty & wisdom those creatures hold.

The SolarPunk Social is on every Wednesday at the Post Bar and welcomes you to 'Bring your Thing', be that an idea, a workshop, a craft, or just your passion for creating a strong and well informed resilient community.

This event is a open and accessible space for all, based on donations to support the time, energy and resources that it takes to make it all happen, and continue the work created by these grassroots communities. Please give generously where you can - noone will be turned away at the door!

The venue is wheelchair accessible and children are welcome earlier on.
