Shaped by the places she has lived and travelled, particularly India, she draws on both her Egyptian and Celtic heritage to explore new musical landscapes. Layered voices, strings and rhythm sit at the heart of her work, weaving together tradition, experimentation and a sense of the ancient meeting the contemporary.

Originally from Iraq, Kasrani has spent a lot of time in the Totnes community, teaching us the gift of giving and the power of unconditional love. His music is a wonderful reflection of his beautiful being.

- WORKSHOPS -

Meditation workshop with Frank Gillett (1.30pm)
A 30 minute meditation to support connection and grounding.
Opening to the earthing available through our bodies;
Opening our senses to the plants and trees around us;
Bringing it all through to awaken gratitude within our hearts again.
Yoga with Ellie (4.30pm)
Rooted Hatha Yoga Workshop
Join me for teachings and insights gathered from my time practicing in India. While I regularly teach classes at Birdwood House, this workshop is a space to drop into a deep and expansive yoga practice.
Hatha yoga is more than physical movement; it is a tool for purifying and connecting with our highest self and the divine.
Translating to both “force” and the balance of sun (Ha) and moon (Tha), Hatha offers a way to balance opposing energies to experience a deeper awareness.
Drawing on traditional roots, we practice mantra, pranayama (breathwork), and restorative yoga nidra. Together, we’ll move beyond the physical to explore yoga as a deep, spiritual practice to honour its ancient origins and tap into its transformative power right here.
All levels are welcome!

Welcome to Circle Music Medicine,
A state of play, an art form, an invitation to get in touch with "the wisdom of the body" to come together, breathe together and sound together as a collective.

It is ancestral, timeless & part of our fundamental nature.
Whether you are a beginner of musical expression or a well adept expressionista all states of being are welcome, we’ll listen and evolve to each moment with loving awareness and explore the music that we are.
