Join this creative one-day workshop, led by Fran Willems, a somatic art & sound bowl practitioner and (energetic) massage therapist, and Jessica Ball, a Bohm Dialogue specialist, creative facilitator and Reiki practitioner, exploring and deepening the sensory relationship to our individual body, earth body and cosmic body.

Somatic art practice is a relational, transdisciplinary creative exploration rooted in BMC® principles (Body Mind Centering, Bonnie B), bringing us into a more aligned, flow state and creating a sense of calm and connection inhabiting our bodies. Combining this practice with Bohm Dialogue will allow for individual and collective meaning-making through intentional listening and group reflection. This workshop is for you if you need a break from fast-paced, high-pressure life and long for a soothing soft container to slow down and explore creativity, reflection, the body, whilst connecting in a compassionate inclusive community. No prior artistic experience is necessary to attend this workshop and all materials will be provided, though feel free to take your own materials/artist journal. Come curious and enjoy the journey!

What to expect

The workshop is grounded in an invitation to imaginatively and somatically connect to your fascia - the connective tissue that wraps and supports every part of our body. The somatic art practice gently and playfully explores touch, drawing, movement and free writing to allow for an embodied experience and deeper connection to the wonders of the body. We will then expand this curiosity and creativity into our felt connection and relationship with the earth body and cosmic body, before gathering in circle to reflect and share our experience and co-create meaning together. The day will finish with a relaxing guided integration, including meditation and sound.
