Stitching Wisdom-Heart Pouch Bags (solstice session)

In this particular session we will be gathering near to the winter solstice and hand stitching small pouches that we can fill with love to and acceptance for self. Each piece of fabric we choose represents a part of us. Each stitch is symbolic. 

Does the feel of buttery, crumpled linen soothe your soul? Does a bright print make your heart sing? What combinations of colours and textures stir your energy and bring you back to life?

And what colour thread will a bold part of you choose? A shy part? A protective part? A hopeful part? Will the other parts let that one speak? Art for our parts. We don't find all the answers but we have fun exploring over cups of tea and baskets of fabric!

This therapeutic journey invites embodied and magical stitching where fabric and thread is energy and intention. They're an imaginative mix of  somatic creativity, journal prompts, small moments of easy guided meditation, connection to landscape, ritual, and time to share and be witnessed.

Using colour, fabric and beautifully imperfect stitches (no experience necessary) we explore our connection to self and our inner worlds.

It's wonky, witchy stitching - a sacred energy tool for navigating life transitions, feelings of being lost or at a crossroads and wild imaginings of what we'd love to welcome next into our lives. 

Timings: 10am-3pm

Venue: At a beautiful Georgian townhouse, in central Exeter Devon Just a few minutes walk from the high street. Exact location and directions given on booking.  

Tea/coffee and biscuits provided. Each session will run with a short break for lunch (please bring your own).

All fabric and materials provided.

Please note that currently we are unable to accommodate accessibility needs as the toilets are upstairs but we are working to address this in the near future.
