It's been a little while since our last Ceilidh, but Banned from the Moor are finally BACK and we can't wait to dance together again!
A cèilidh (/ˈkeɪli/ KAY-lee, Scottish Gaelic: [ˈkʲʰeːlɪ]) or céilí (Irish: [ˈceːlʲiː]) is a traditional Scottish and Irish social gathering. In its most basic form, it simply means a social visit.
We love a Ceilidh at MIC and so do those who have attended those we've held so far! But be warned:- there is a risk of face-ache from so much smiling!!
Come ready to join in the fun! No experience necessary—just bring your enthusiasm and a spirit of adventure. Let's get together for a night of lively music, traditional dancing, and great company!
Featuring! 'Banned from the Moor'
Enjoy traditional Scottish music, delicious refreshments, and plenty of opportunities to dance the night away!
Do dheagh shlainte! 🥳 💃🕺 ('to your good health') 🥰
FYI :- Friday, November 20, 2026, the Moon will be in a Waxing Gibbous phase with about 80.8% illumination
