Elemental Symphonies - Somatic Plant Journey  - Friday morning once a month. Each session there will be a new location so please what's app us and we will send a drop pin 

We gather in the grounds of the dartington estate and invite creative conversations with the natural landscape. Each week we will journey with different plants and/or aspects of the landscape. Through movement exploration we will pause and listen to awaken the body as a sensory and listening instrument. Through art and writing we will make our sensations visible. Opening ourselves up to visceral stories and knowledge of these natural connections. 

We will bring a fine selection of art materials and welcome to bring your own.

Becca Parkinson has been running classes and workshops in Open Floor Movement Practice and Eco Somatics for over a decade. Their work is informed by extensive study with Helen Poynor in Environmental Movement,  Butoh dance, Shamanic practice  with Northern Drum and current study with the school of Intuitive Herbalism. They also work as an Environmental Arts psychotherapist for the NHS.  www.movinglandscapes.org

Over the past 25 years, Lies Van Hee has cultivated a multifaceted art practice grounded in visual art / creative embodiment / nature connection. Lies studied Beeld en Ruimte (Sculpture and Space) at the LUCA School of Arts in Ghent (Belgium), where they developed a strong foundation in visual art. In addition to their formal education, Lies has studied with various teachers in the fields of movement and nature connection. These experiences allow them to integrate somatic techniques and nature-based practices into their art. Alongside this alive practice, they raise a beautiful young man through an inspiring journey of homeschooling, unschooling and democratic education.
