BodySong ~ A Dance & Voice Journey ~ Ancestral Songlines

BodySong is a space where movement & sound are invited in equal measure; a guided journey to find freedom in our bodies and our voices.

We will welcome our connection with our ancestors in this circle, as we meet at Samhain when the veil is thin…BodySong 1.11.26:

Doors will be open from 5:30 pm and we finish at 8 pm.

Please park on the entrance road to the barn, there are gravel paths on either side of the roads with spaces to park, then walk down and  you will find the barn to the bottom left of the residents car park.  Please park closely to leave as much space as possible. Alternatively you can park on a nearby road and walk in.  

We will begin with a movement/dance warm up, then move into a guided dance journey with music to support you to begin slowly and gradually build up to an organic peak, then returning to a gentle ending.

Sound and voice will be welomed throughout event, ending with a focus on exploring our voices, sound and song together in circle.

Please bring drums/rattles and musical instruments if you would like to join in with the sound and song part of the session.

These circles are for all of us to explore our voices, and the sound and song we co-create when we come together. These circles aren't about moving or singing in a certain way, they are there to guide us to free up our expression, our dance, our voice.

Something magical happens when we gather together in this way.

What to bring:

~ Something for the altar if you wish, it can be a support item or a photo of your ancestors, anything you would like to bring

~ Comfy clothes to dance in

~ layers you can take on and off easily

~ water

~ something comfortable to sit on

~ drums/rattles/instruments for our sound/song circle

Parking: 

Parking is available on the entry road in to the car park area. Please only park here or on roads around around the area. The car park is for residents only.
