Join us for a fantastic circular walk through the Peak District, starting and finishing at Edale Train Station.
This longer route takes in Hollins Cross, Mam Tor and Lord’s Seat, with sweeping views across the Hope Valley and surrounding hills.
📍 Start/Finish: Edale Train Station
🕚 Meet: 11:00am
🥾 Distance: Approx. 7.8 miles / 12.6 km
⛰️ Difficulty: Moderate
⬆️ Ascent: Approx. 1,500 ft / 450 m
⏱️ Please allow: Approximately 4–5 hours for the full walk, including breaks and stops
The walk includes sustained uphill sections, ridge walking and uneven ground, so a reasonable level of fitness is recommended.
Please dress appropriately for the conditions, with sturdy walking footwear and suitable outdoor clothing. Weather in the Peak District can change quickly, particularly on exposed sections, so please check the weather forecast before setting off and bring waterproofs and extra layers where appropriate.
Please bring enough water, snacks and any personal medication you may need.
We’ll walk together at a comfortable group pace, with time to stop, take in the scenery and enjoy the route.
