This special festive drop-in session is for anyone who has attended a Friday Night Dance series any time during the last 12 years. Is this you? Come along! This session has over half of our most recent group registered & we've added 15 tickets here for familiar past dancers to join.

Friday Night Dance is a committed group series that runs termly. Next term is booking now to start January 2026.

Our movement space blends the subtle pleasures of somatic movement with the vitality of improvisation and music. This space invites exploration, connection, and a deepening relationship with movement.

About Leela Fisk

I bring 16 years experience of facilitating community dance, over 3000 facilitating hours of supporting personal and collective expressions in non-competitive atmospheres with care. I'm informed by my training with the School of Soul Motion, studies with Anna Halprin and colleagues along with various somatic movement practices. I have been working in education since 2000.

I also lead a Level 1 Personal Embodiment and Level 2 Facilitator Training for the Devon School of Soul Motion along with other ongoing groups for women and families locally in Totnes as part of Movement for Life community group, Totnes Dance Collective and other initiatives.

Relational Awareness

We foster good relations in the dance. We generate inclusive community. We feel it's real testimony to have been able to co-exist sensitively where group members also have external relationships such as therapist/client or ex-partners within the group. We do not recommend joining the group afresh if you have unresolved issues with someone who attends — please check with me first if you are unsure. For anyone in a professional capacity wanting to check about possible clients or vice versa, please contact me directly — we check by initials in the first instance. We (Adam and myself) run several other groups that I can point you to if needed.

Cancellation Policy

If you’re unable to attend after payment:

No refunds are available.
However, you may transfer your place to someone else, provided they have attended a Friday Night Dance before.
