Life drawing at Studio 366

On Wednesday 4th November, from 7-9pm Starkers Art is back at Studio 366 for their monthly  creative evening of life drawing.

We’ll have a sensational  life model posing and if you’ve never drawn from a live model before, you’re missing out. It’s not about being “good at drawing”. It’s about having a real person in the room, looking properly, and letting your brain switch off for a bit. Weirdly calming. Surprisingly addictive.

We’ll start with a series of short, fun poses to loosen everyone up, before moving into longer poses where you can really develop a piece.

Bring your own sketchbooks and dry materials if you like, and don’t worry if you don’t have anything though, we’ll have plenty of materials to share. All dry mediums welcome.

Starkers Art is all about creativity, connection and having a go. This isn’t a class or a formal workshop, and there’s absolutely no pressure to produce a masterpiece. We’re a small, friendly group and we’re happy to guide you if you want a little help.

We are at Studio 366 on the first Wednesday of every month (unless otherwise stated)  with a different model posing  nude or with a theme and we’d love to fill this gorgeous space with lovely, curious creatives.

Spaces available for a couple of hours of drawing, chatting and creative connection.
