SULAM

Something really special is happening at The Hairy Barista, Totnes , on Sunday 8th November.

ADAMA Events will be welcoming SULAM - Arantxa & Galor, an emerging musical duo whose sound is intimate, soulful and beautifully atmospheric.

At the heart of SULAM is Arantxa’s beautiful, captivating voice, its warm, expressive and effortlessly emotive, accompanied by Galor’s musicianship, with the two of them weaving together, creating something that feels both earthy and transporting.
Their music moves between gentle, hypnotic passages and more rhythmic, uplifting moments.

There’s a warmth and spontaneity to SULAM that feels made for a smaller space, music to really listen to, but also to lose yourself in.                                    At times it’s tender and meditative, at others it feels joyful and full of movement.

Arantxa & Galor’s  music has a wonderfully human, unpolished quality that makes you feel part of the experience rather than simply watching it.

Through original songs sung in Spanish, Hebrew, Catalan and English, they create a space for listening, connection and remembrance, inviting us all to come together through the universal language of music.

SULAM have only played together publicly once before, and that first gig was truly spectacular & heart-opening.
We’re really excited to be bringing SULAM to The Hairy Barista in Totnes,  for what will be only their second live performance, to be able to experience them, once again, at such an early point in their musical  journey together .
With space for only around 70 people, this will be a very intimate evening, much more like being invited into a special musical gathering,  than a conventional concert. If you love discovering new music, beautiful voices, and those rare little nights where the atmosphere in the room becomes as important as the performance itself, this one is for you.
