Ancient Stones - Stone Circle Nature Dance w/ DJ Fungi Phill

Every year we offer a pilgrimage to experience the freedom of dance in one of the special ancient sites we are blessed with in South Devon. 

Last year we danced inside the walls of a Pre-Celtic village in wild Dartmoor. 
This year will return to a stone circle 
Where we will honour the ancestors 
And connect into the 

DANCE SPOT : Fernworthy Stone Circle - (confirmed)

MEET SPOT : Fernworthy Resevoir  
MEET TIME :  11am
WALK LEAVES : 11.30am  (Be ready) 
AFTERWARDS : Either stay, share food and connect more or head-on home.

*About the circle* 🪨 
Now surrounded by forest on all sides,
In 1908 it was on the open moors (see photo) 
But it’s around 4000 years old! 
It’s the centerpiece of a larger prehistoric complex. Including 3 stone rows & five burial cairns (barrows)

We will do a circular walk through the forest path. 🚶
- to the stones =  (30mins) easy terrain 
- Walk back =  (10mins) easy terrain

DJ Fungi Phill - A master at crafting a multi-genre deep-dive that feels attuned with the land and nature. There are usually with plenty of bouncy, upbeat tracks blended with some more ambient heart-opening music for an authentic, somatic connection..

Ceremonial Dance - Closed Container with no talking during the dance.

• A Lammas offering (if you choose) - could be homegrown vegetables or wild forraged berries etc.
• Ample Water  (More than you think)
• Cup for Cacao
• A Rug to Sit on
• Suitable Clothing to flowy but warm.
• A jacket with hood if a chance of rain.
• Your Personal Intention to Dance.

Please be aware that due to the variable nature of dancing outdoors, our event times may vary slightly. Often  it can take folks time to land and settle in a wild environment. It really helps if people arrive on time and gather quickly when you are called to begin. While we'll do our best to stay on schedule, we appreciate your patience if things run a bit longer than expected. Thanks for your understanding!

For this event we use silent disco headphones, allowing us to enjoy the  most beautiful wild places without disturbing the natural environment or others walkers. All headphones are provided and come with their own individual volume control

Tickets are non-refundable unless an event is cancelled or postponed. In the event of a postponement, you will have the option to either keep your ticket for the rescheduled date or apply it to any future Nature Dance event. Additionally, tickets are transferable and can be sold or passed on to others if you’re unable to attend. 

Many of our events sell out, so if you cannot make it, please do pass on your ticket to ensure someone else has the chance to join in.
