Babaji Nature Ashram - Kirtan & Bring & Share Picnic

On Saturday 12th September, we’ll be opening the Babaji Nature Ashram land for another special day of kirtan, community, nature and good food. 🪷

Our first public gathering on the land in June was such a beautiful day. It was wonderful to see people of all ages coming together to enjoy the sunshine, the nature around us, shared food, chai, kirtan and, most importantly, each other’s company. We’d love to recreate that feeling and welcome even more of you onto the land this time.

The day will be simple and relaxed — a chance to slow down, spend time in nature, sing together, share a meal and enjoy the space.

The gathering will take place in our large marquee, and if the weather is kind to us we hope to open the sides and spend part of the day outside in the sunshine ☀️

Programme

10:30 – 13:00
Short Aarti to Haidakhan Babaji, followed by kirtan

13:00 – 14:30
Bring-and-share vegetarian lunch

Please bring some vegetarian food to share if you can, including a serving spoon if needed, and a small note with ingredients/allergens or dietary information.

This is a free event, as we simply want to invite people to come together and experience the land. There will, however, be donation buckets around the space for anyone who would like to support the ongoing development of the Babaji Nature Ashram.

🌿 A Little Help After the Gathering

We will also need to take the marquee down after the event.

If you are able to stay a little longer after the gathering and lend a hand, we would be incredibly grateful. Even an extra half an hour or an hour can make a big difference.

Many hands make light work! 🙏

It will also be a lovely opportunity to spend a little more time together and help care for the land as a community.

Important Information

• Please note that the Babaji Nature Ashram is still in the early stages of developing its infrastructure. Accessibility is currently limited, and the toilets are located a short uphill walk from the marquee. We really appreciate your understanding as the land continues to grow and develop over time 🌱

• Parking on the land is limited and public transport can be difficult, so we kindly ask everyone to car share where possible. If you are looking for a lift or are able to offer one, please join the WhatsApp car share group below and share where you’ll be travelling from:
