Botanical Arts Workshop in Nature

Join us for a day of art, creativity and relaxation. Connect to the beauty of nature all around us and the beauty in each other as we express ourselves creatively. We will slow down, savour, play and create.

Included in the day are:

• Morning sauna
• Mindful foraging walk
• Cyanotype(sunprint) and Mono printing art workshop in the yurt with foraged botanicals from the surrounding areas with plenty of time to experiment
• Nourishing lunch
• More time to experiment with art, sauna or simply be.

The intention of the day:

We intend to offer a spacious, no-stress experience, with time to drop into yourself and experience the beautiful nature around you . We believe that everyone is a creator/artist. The techniques we share are beautiful and intuitive. After a demonstartion of the basics of cyanotype (sunprint) and mono print you can create in your own pace. No rules. Just art.

About the location:

Motts sauna is nestled inbetween a private woodland, serene fields and a gentle stream. The stunning yurt and natural surroundings serve as inspiration for the day: birdsong, ferns, leafs, earth, the sound of the stream.

About food:

We serve an inspired plant-based lunch, including a sweet treat to tickle all ypour senses. Jess & Friedel are both private chefs, sourcing food as locally, organic, and 0-waste as possible. 

Invitation:

We welcome young people from age 14+ accompanied by a parent/carer or family friend to participate in this event and explore art in a calm and welcoming space.

What to bring:

• 2 towels for the sauna
• Swimming costume
• Bottle of water
• If you have any pressed flowers, plants, or dried flowers  you'd like to work with you can bring them

We provide all arts materials and aprons (to protect clothing)
