This is a trans-inclusive Womb-centric* circle, open to women and all trans and non-binary people.

The shedding Autumn brings can provoke challenging feelings as we struggle to embrace change. This Taurus Full Moon illuminates what is stubbornly refusing to shift along with the falling leaves.

Our Theme: Persephone - Resource Yourself

As the darkness draws in, we turn to Persephone to lead the way. By now she has already fallen into Hades realm, taking up her throne as Dread Queen of the Underworld.

Persephone advises us how to move through the darkness from a place of power and compassion. She will equip us with magickal tools to anchor ourselves in the Underworld by connecting to the more-than-human.

With this support, and the support of circle process itself, we will connect into our vulnerability and traverse the landscape of our darker emotions. Together, Persephone and Taurus invite us to find the light and abundance of Spring deep within the dark of Underworld.

Whether you are craving witness for your darkness or are wanting to dip a toe into sharing vulnerably, this is the place for you. Come to receive and be received just as you are.

What to Expect:

  • Exploration of the Cosmic Womb energies for this Full Moon
  • Sooth Sayer Circle**
  • Visualisation meditation
  • Homemade herbal tea & incense
  • Integration ritual (take home)

**adapted by Miche Fabre Lewin from Joanna Macy’s Truth Mandala

How is this space held?

Everyone in circle is an equal participant and contributor to the richness of the material we will cover. Your stories and experiences matter. Together we co-create our magic.

Broadly we agree to:

  • Confidentiality: what is shared in circle stays in the circle
  • No fixing: no judging, criticising, helping, advising

We intend to:

  • Listen from the heart
  • Speak from the heart
  • Be spontaneous
  • Be lean and to the point

This circle is held in the form of Ways of Council which was co-created with Pueblo elders in California during the 1970s. The approach will be introduced in more detail on the night.

*What is Wyrd Sistxrs?

Wyrd Sistxrs are united by the Womb as a sacred site of creativity, regeneration, and protest. Whether your connection with the Womb comes from your physical embodiment or through the Cosmic Womb, you are welcome here.

We honour Womb's sacred spiracular nature: every month, and every year, we are inducted into wombsense and the potency of the Cosmic Womb. Those without a cycle can connect with this waxing and waning through the Moon, and circular process through the seasons.

We explore representations of wombearers through mythology and folklore to find common ground among our experiences and honour difference. We respect the diverse ways we choose to challenge traditional gender norms.

We understand that ours is a shared struggle of sistxrhood needed to heal modern culture of the strictures of patriarchy. Wherever you are on that journey, Wyrd Sistxrs is here for you.

Your Facilitator

Beata Star

I have been a conscious student of the Womb for ten years through connection with my own body, the Moon, the spiracular circles, cycles, and abundant flow of nature, and practical exploration of goddesses and their lore. My work honours the Womb in all forms.

My approach is trauma-informed. My training and professional background is in coaching, circle facilitation, depth psychology, ancient Hellenistic astrology, indigenous and postcolonial perspectives, shamanic practise, and service user-led mental health research at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology, and Neuroscience.

This circle will be held at my home in Redfield, near St George's Park. Precise location will be shared with ticket purchase.

Please get in touch if you would like to attend but for whatever financial reasons you cannot afford it.
