Leviathan: advance screening of the first feature-length Kainos documentary

Leviathan is a feature-length documentary that will take you on a journey into the deep code of culture. It explores our current economic, technological and social reality through the lens of psychology, history and myth to bring us face to face with the collective shadows we need to integrate if we want to transform the systems around us. Why is trust in our institutions declining so rapidly? What is social media really doing to our hearts and mind? How do we move into a new economic paradigm without sacrificing progress? Leviathan explores these questions and more, asking what psychological and mythic forces are driving our social fragmentation and revealing how we can overcome them. Starring Yanis Varoufakis, Nora Bateson, Douglas Rushkoff, Minna Salami, Josh Schrei, Alexa Firmenich and John Vervaeke.

This special advance screening is a chance to see the film before its official premiere and online release on 26th June. The screening will be followed by an opportunity for discussion about the issues it raises, and how we can come together in our community to shift things in a different direction. 

Doors at 7pm for a 7.30 start.

Entry is by donation to cover the costs of putting on this event. Any surplus will go towards MIC's work in our local community.
