The Heart of Parenting Day Workshop on the stages of development

Sustainable Families is a small local community organisation whose aim is to support families to thrive, through heart connection –
within the family relationships, and beyond. We love “it takes a village to raise a child” which places value on how important good company is on the journey of parenting and caring for young children. We also love that phrase turned around: “it takes a child to raise a village” – because having deep integrity as guardians of young children invites us to do our own inner work : identifying and updating conditioned and limiting beliefs, and continuing our own growing up.
We draw on Hand in Hand Parenting (https://www.handinhandparenting.org), and over the past few years have organised workshops on the Hand in Hand approach, with Lottery Funding. This July we are delighted to host something new – The Heart of
Parenting. Visiting international teachers/educators Frank Marrero and Aura Bakker will facilitate. The workshop draws on their insights and experience of embodied awakening, as well as their experiences as educators.

And how discipline can be an act of love, fostering connection and inner development for everyone.

The workshop is suitable for educators, play-workers, child-minders, and of course parents, and grandparents - and also for all adults interested in awakening the heart and understanding the stages of human development as taught by Adi Da.
