In this talk & shamanic journey, which will be followed by a Q & A, Ya’Acov and Susannah Darling Khan, Co-Founders of Movement Medicine, will share the fundamentals of what makes their relationship so inspiring.
Ya’Acov & Susannah, together with their drums, will take us all on an embodied journey to help us find a little more clarity on what each one of us bring into our relationships .
After 38 years together, the fiery and creative dynamic between them is a source of teaching for anyone wanting more intimacy and therefore better sex in their relationships.
They don’t teach tantra. They teach what they have learned through more than 3½ decades of living on the front line of love.
During that time, they have developed a radical basis for mutually empowering and responsible relationship between yin and yang and in this case, between a man and a woman.
What they have discovered, challenges so many of the conceptual baggage that so many of us bring into our relationships.
Don’t miss them!!
They are really funny, wise, very down to earth, humble and real, and they have this news to share:
‘We know that relationship is a challenge. And, the harvest we are in has shown us beyond all shadow of a doubt, that everything we’ve been through together has been worth it in ways we could never have imagined. For us, there is no deeper spiritual practice than committed relationship.
When you dare to love someone, then you know that everything that’s undigested, all that shadow material, the terror of being naked and at the mercy of our mortality, the hurts and broken places we all bring into that space of love, all of it will become visible in time.
At the same time, the healing waters of love are infinite and warm. The healing fires of love are spicy and infinitely creative. And if we can find that grounded, golden key that stops us looking outside of ourselves for someone to blame for what we are feeling, there is no limit on love that we have yet discovered.’
Susannah ~ is one of the most experienced and dedicated of embodied awareness teachers. Her work enables people to deepen their compassion towards themselves, each other and life itself.
Since 1989, she has been teaching life-skills through intentional movement practice with her husband, Ya’Acov. Teaching a wide variety of events in diverse situations, she has developed a sophisticated knowledge of the transformational power of embodied practice in supporting self-awareness and empathy for others.
Ya'Acov ~ has been studying and practicing shamanism all his life.
When he was 21, he was hit by lightning and through this, began a three-decade-long journey of initiation. He has been recognised as a practicing shaman by Elder Shamans from the Sami (European tradition), and Achuar and Sápara peoples of the Amazon. His work is dedicated to supporting people from all walks of life to be who they are and give what they’ve got.
Ya’Acov is also the best-selling author of Jaguar in the Body, Butterfly in the Heart (Hay House 2017), the Co-Author of Movement Medicine - How to Dance, Awaken and Live your Dreams, (Hay House 2009). His latest book, Shaman – Invoking Power, Purpose and Presence at the Core of Who You Are was published by Hay House in Spring 2020.
