🌿 Primal Voice - A Vocal Journey through the Archetypes for women 🌿
A weekend of movement, storytelling and drum journeys to guide you to uncover your primal voice: the authentic, untamed sound living within us.
We'll explore how invoking the ancient archetypes can help us to expand and sing together in ways that aren't about right or wrong, good or bad, or us and them. It's the work of connection above all else.
Drawing on Frankie Armstrong's Singing through the Archetypes, we'll move through archetypes such as the Hunter, the Initiator and the Lover, exploring the full spectrum of vocal expression, from raw and powerful to tender and soulful.
Expect:
🌿 embodied vocal and movement explorations
🌿 drum journeys to access archetypal energies through imagination and storytelling
🌿 expansion of vocal range, colour and resonance
🌿 a nourishing, expressive weekend with likeminded folk
This is for all women* — whether you consider yourself a singer or not.
