🍂 What wants to be created this Autumn?

As the days grow shorter and the year begins to turn inward, Autumn offers us a natural invitation to pause, reflect, gather, and tend to what matters.

Perhaps there are creative ideas you've been carrying around for months.
Something you want to make, write, perform, explore or bring into the world.
Perhaps you simply want to feel more alive, playful and connected to your creative self again.

Harness Your Creative Practice is a 6-week online journey into creativity, play, ritual, embodiment and community, designed to help you move from thinking about creating to actually creating.

Now in its 22nd edition, this course has supported hundreds of creatives from around the world to develop a more nourishing, sustainable and wholehearted relationship with their creative practice.

THE INVITATION

Join an intimate group of creatives from around the world for six weeks of exploration, encouragement and creative momentum.

Each week follows an aspect of the Hero's Journey, taking us through a process of stepping into the unknown, exploring new territory, meeting obstacles, finding resources and ultimately bringing something home.

The sessions are playful, embodied and reflective, drawing on:

movement • ritual • clowning • writing • painting •  improvisation • meditation • collaboration • creativity

You don't need to be a professional artist or have a particular creative project. You simply need a curiosity about your own creative expression and a willingness to explore.

This is a space to show up as you are and discover what wants to move through you.

WHAT YOU'LL RECEIVE

✨ 6 live 2-hour group sessions on Zoom
✨ Weekly creative exercises + journal prompts
✨ Curated movement, dance & meditation playlists
✨ A supportive international creative community
✨ Accountability and connection between sessions
✨ A flexible “choose your own adventure” approach — participate as much or as little as your life allows
✨ Access to discounted 1-to-1 coaching sessions with Zuma

You can treat it as a weekly creative reset, or use the prompts and practices to create your own deeper at-home creative retreat alongside the live sessions.

THE SIX-WEEK JOURNEY

Week One — The Self
Preparing for the quest. Setting intentions and tuning into what you want to cultivate.

Week Two — Embarking on the Quest
Stepping into the unknown and beginning to move beyond the familiar.

Week Three — Exploring the Territory
Following curiosity, discovering new possibilities and seeing where they lead.

Week Four — Meeting the Monster
Meeting resistance, obstacles and the things that get in the way of our creative expression.

Week Five — Crossing the Threshold
Moving through, gathering resources and bringing in the harvest.

Week Six — Coming Home
Integration, reflection, celebration and cabaret/creative sharing.

The final session offers an opportunity, if you wish, to share something you've created during the course — a poem, painting, piece of writing, dance, comedy, music, performance or anything else that wants to be witnessed.

WHY AUTUMN?

Autumn isn't only a season of letting go.

It's also a season of gathering.

Gathering the experiences, ideas, lessons and creative sparks from the year.
Making space for what is ready to emerge.
Composting what no longer serves us.
And tending the inner fire that will carry us through the darker months.

This course is an invitation to use that seasonal energy as a creative ally.

What if the quieter months weren't a time to put your creativity on hold, but an opportunity to deepen it?

A LITTLE ABOUT WHY I CREATED THIS

I created the Harness Your Creative Practice Course because I believe creativity isn't something reserved for artists, nor is it something we have to wait to feel inspired to do.

Creativity is a relationship.

It needs attention, nourishment, play, curiosity and sometimes a little accountability. It needs spaces where we can experiment without having to know where we're going.

And it is so much easier to keep creating when we don't have to do it alone.

If you're yearning for more creativity, community, play, ritual, movement, inspiration, accountability or simply a dedicated space to explore what wants to come through you, I'd love to welcome you.

Come as you are.

Bring your questions, your unfinished ideas, your curiosity, your mess.

Let's see what wants to grow in the dark. 🍂✨

With love,
Zuma x
